Fantastic place, unlike anywhere you'll go. There was a night of music by lots of random people, some songs I knew others I didn't. Had a good chat with the bar staff, the owner and the musicians. Had a bbq pizza with pineapple in it (don't judge me lol) that was sensational! Definitely worth a visit.
Amazing staff. Good atmosphere. And as of a few weeks ago, they brought back their famous pasty.
A friendly, family-friendly tavern with good food (although a somewhat limited menu) and local beers. Best is the evening entertainment and afternoon jam sessions played by very talented local musicians. The only negative is that the ceiling is very high, which results in a noisy atmosphere. Another negative for some people is that it's not wheelchair accessible.
This is a great place to hang out with friends. It has exposed brick walls and old hardwood floors. The bars are old carved wood. They have a good selection of bourbons and beers. There is a nice open outdoor seating area too. I remember this place when it was Kraftbrau. If you are looking for a good time, stop in with some friends. This is a great historic Kalamazoo building.
My favorite bar in Kalamazoo. Great service. Great family run business . the beer garden is an excellent place to see a summer concert.
Very Excellent. Burger was awesome. Bloody Mary was awesome. Had good conversation with staff and regular customers. From out of state and had a great time! Definitely would recommend!
If you are looking for a dog-friendly restaurant, look no further. Both Maisie and I were welcomed warmly on New Year's Eve. I enjoyed some appetizers and an old-fashioned cocktail on the patio. Staff was friendly and welcoming both to me and my dog. It was the perfect spot for us. We will definitely return. The food was good atmosphere was great. If you want a great experience going out with your pet. I highly recommend this place! :-)
Nice venue. Good food. The food was more sophisticated than I would have ever expected. My shrimp and pasta dish was delicious. My son's burger was fresh and we'll made. They also had live music. I am glad we had dinner there.
We had a great night enjoying the outdoor seating. From the cobblestone path to the twinkle lights and the scalloped fence, we took in all the details. A genuine experience not found in any chain. Grab a drink and a friend for a night away from the usual.
The building is full of Kalamzoo history and is a cozy spot to meet up with friends for drinks and food. Friday nights are karaoke and everyone was having a great time when I was there with friends! Staff were incredible and knowledgeable when making drinks and they were quick!
